An email tracking pixel is a 1x1 pixel image embedded in your campaign by the platform automatically. It is invisible to your recipients. When a subscriber opens your email and their client loads images, the pixel registers the open. This is how Mail Blaze records open data across all your campaigns.
What does the Mail Blaze Subscriber Score measure?
The Subscriber Score rates each subscriber from 0 to 5 based on their open and click behaviour. Score 0 means no opens at all. Score 1 means they have opened at least once. Scores 2 through 5 reflect increasing recency and frequency of opens and clicks in the last two months. The higher the score, the more actively engaged the subscriber.
Where does location tracking data come from?
Location data is derived from the subscriber's IP address at the time of opening. If a subscriber's IP is registered to a different location than where they physically are, the platform uses the IP data it receives. Location tracking is an approximation based on IP, not a precise physical location.
How do I add UTM tracking to my campaigns?
UTM parameters can be added directly to your campaign links inside the Mail Blaze builder. You can add them manually or use Mail Blaze's UTM settings to apply them consistently across your campaigns. Once in place, your analytics platform attributes clicks from that campaign to the correct source and medium.
Can I see tracking data at subscriber level?
Yes. At subscriber level you can see which campaigns they have opened. Navigate to LISTS, select your list, search for the subscriber, click the cog wheel, and select CAMPAIGNS SEEN.
